60 Thousand Dutch nationals want houses at Alanya Ali Hancı, a member of the Municipal Council in Alanya, stated
that 60 thousand Dutch nationals wish to purchases houses in the town. The Dutch newspaper reporters visiting
Alanya, Antalya, said that Turkey did not carry out a successful promotional campaign. The reporters were invited to
Alanya by entrepreneurs in the real estate sector. Among them, Mohammed Benzekaur made the following
comments: “Turkey is not promoted sufficiently in Holland. Turkey is considered a conservative Middle Eastern
country by the Dutch. However, upon arrival in Turkey and especially at Alanya, we noted that this is not the case at
all. Nevertheless, I believe that Turkey is not advertising the existing values here sufficiently in Europe. Because
people still fail to recognize her as a modern country. Many people in Holland still have wrong impressions on
Turkey. More promotional efforts are needed.” Ali Hancı, a member of the Municipal Council in Alanya, stated that
according to the latest researches, it was ascertained that 60 thousand Dutch nationals wished to purchase houses
at Alanya. Hancı made the following comments: “There are certain questions in the minds of the Dutch nationals
wishing to buy houses in Alanya. To overcome such misgivings we have played host to Dutch newspaper reporters.
We endeavored to acquaint them with Alanya. We wish to increase our share of the market in Holland by relating
the treasures Turkey possesses.”

Living in Turkish Riviera
The Turkish Mediterranean is an area of  spectacular beauty. Beautiful  sheltered
sandy coves, backed by the Taurus Mountains, are a sight once seen never forgotten.
With no pollution, a relaxing atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the Turkish
people it is like living in paradise.
Buying a property in Turkey  is a lot easier than in many other European countries.
Foreigners may purchase land and properties in Turkey in their own names provided
that properties are located in towns not in villages or rural areas and outside of
military zones. Fethiye is the first largest but sleepy little town at the northern tip of
the Fethiye peninsula. It combines  a compact town center with beautiful sandy
beaches and fragrant mandarin  groves. You can enjoy fantastic sunsets breathing in
the purist air  around  whilst being fanned by gentle breezes.
